Packing specification is part of every order, not an afterthought. Banco maintains five internal protection options and five external bundle packing configurations, individually specified per product, per destination, and per customer requirement.

/ 01 · Internal protection

Profile-to-profile protection.
Five options.

Bare

Profile-on-profile with no interleaving. Standard for structural sections, cut lengths for immediate machining, and profiles with anodised or powder coated surface where finish is not a priority.

Paper layer

Single layer of interleaving paper between every profile. Protects against contact marks and minor surface damage. Suitable for most architectural and standard finishes.

Paper interleave

Continuous paper interleaving wrap around each individual profile. Full surface protection. Standard for powder coated and anodised profiles going to premium applications.

Cardboard strip

Longitudinal corrugated cardboard strips placed between profiles at contact points. Prevents pressure marks and surface deformation on soft-temper or thin-wall sections.

Wrapped profiles

Individual profile fully wrapped in polyethylene film or paper wrap. Maximum protection for premium finished profiles, long-distance transport, or customer-specified requirements.

Internal protection is specified per SKU and recorded in the production order. Mixed internal packing within a single bundle is possible where profile surface finish varies by layer.

/ 02 · External bundle packing

Wooden bundle

Profiles banded into 8×10 cm nominal cross-section wooden base bundle. Standard export packing for structural sections and long profiles.

Cardboard box

Custom-sized cardboard carton for finished components, short profiles, and fabricated parts. Customer branding or neutral packing available.

Wooden pallet

Profiles loaded onto heat-treated ISPM 15 export pallets. Pallet banded and corner-protected. Standard for container loading and multiple SKU orders.

Stretch film (4-side)

Full 4-side stretch film wrap applied to bundle on pallet. Provides weathering protection and bundle integrity for port storage and sea freight.

Plastic wrap / nylon

Nylon or LDPE full bundle wrap heat-sealed at both ends. Highest weather and moisture protection. Standard for long sea voyages and humid-climate destinations.

All wooden packing components are manufactured from ISPM 15 heat-treated timber and bear the HT mark for unrestricted import into regulated markets. Pallet dimensions match 20-foot and 40-foot container floor dimensions for optimum container utilisation.
