Banco holds IRS Works Approval for the manufacture and supply of aluminium extrusion profiles to Indian Railways, covering structural coach sections, interior profiles, and floor panel extrusions. Our profiles comply with IS 733 and IS 1285: the Bureau of Indian Standards specifications for wrought aluminium alloy extrusions.
For shipbuilding applications, we supply 5083-H111 structural extrusions with full weldability qualification. Marine-grade profiles are supplied with full chemical and mechanical test certificates, and our foundry can cast custom 5083 billet compositions to specific marine specification requirements.

Coach structural sections
Underframe, side wall, and roof structural extrusions for Indian Railway coach bodywork, certified to IRS Works Order specifications and IS 733.
Floor panel extrusions
Wide hollow floor panel profiles in 6082 for passenger coach and wagon flooring, with anti-slip surface textures available and weld-compatible cross-sections.

Round, oval, and shaped grab rail extrusions for passenger coach interiors and platform equipment; anodised or powder coated to IRS colour standards.
Door frame sections
Extruded door frame, sill, and surround profiles for sliding and hinged coach doors, with integral weatherstrip grooves and tight corner radii for direct gasket fitment.
Partition panel extrusions
Hollow and ribbed partition wall panel profiles for coach interior dividers, toilet modules, and crew compartment separation. Lightweight and fire-compliant.
Marine structural profiles
Weldable 5083 structural sections for ship superstructure, bulkhead framing, and deck structures, engineered for marine-grade corrosion resistance in salt water environments.

IRS Works Approval requires Banco to maintain documented quality systems, traceable material supply chains, and in-process inspection records for all IRS-destined profiles. IS 733 and IS 1285 compliance is verified by BIS-licensed testing. CE marking covers structural profiles exported to European markets.
